About Pawprint

Pawprint is a pet care marketplace that connects pet owners with trusted local providers for dog walking, pet sitting, drop-in visits, boarding, and grooming. Owners browse real profiles, compare listed prices, and book and pay in one app — with no booking fees. Providers run their pet care business on Pawprint: they set their own prices and schedule, get discovered by owners nearby, and get paid straight to their bank through Stripe.

How it works

Every booking happens in the Pawprint app, available on iOS and Android. Pet owners can book a specific provider's package directly or post a request describing what they need and let providers send offers. Payment is authorized when a booking is placed and only captured once the provider accepts — messaging, scheduling, live walk tracking, and reviews all stay in the app.

Trust and safety

Providers verify a government-issued photo ID through Stripe Identity before their first listing goes live, and profiles show phone and email verification badges. Providers can also submit occupational credentials — licenses, certifications, insurance, or bonding — for verification. Payments are held until the service is confirmed, and owners can read reviews, report or block users, and raise a dispute on a completed booking. Identity verification confirms who a provider is — it is not a background check — so we encourage owners to review profiles and use their own judgment.

The company

Pawprint is operated by Osprey Technology LLC, a Delaware-incorporated company founded in 2022 and headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina. Pawprint launched in Charlotte in 2025 and is expanding city by city.
