What do I need to become a Pawprint provider?
Four quick steps in the app before your first listing goes live: verify a government ID (through Stripe Identity), verify your phone number, accept the provider agreement, and connect a bank account with Stripe so you can get paid. You must be at least 18 to onboard with Stripe.
How much does it cost to join?
Nothing. Joining and listing services is free. Pawprint charges a 10% service fee on each completed booking, and Stripe charges its standard payment processing fee (2.9% + $0.30 per US card transaction). Both come out of the booking total before your payout — there are no monthly charges or listing fees. See the full fee breakdown.
How and when do I get paid?
Payouts run through Stripe Connect. When a booking is marked complete, your payout (the booking total minus the Pawprint service fee and Stripe's processing fee) is sent to your connected bank account on Stripe's standard payout schedule — typically about 2 business days for established accounts.
What services can I offer?
Dog walking, pet sitting, boarding, grooming, training, and more. Each service can have multiple packages (for example a 30-minute and a 60-minute walk) with its own prices, availability windows, and blocked dates — you're in full control of your schedule.
Do I keep tips?
Yes. Pawprint takes no service fee on tips. Stripe's payment processing fee applies to the tip transaction, so you receive the tip amount minus card processing — a $10 tip pays out $9.41.
How do pet owners find me?
Your services appear in search, category browsing, and the map for pet owners near you. You can also browse open requests posted by owners and respond with an offer, and share your public profile link anywhere. Reviews from completed bookings build your track record over time.
What about taxes?
Pawprint and Stripe provide tax documents (1099-K) for providers who meet the IRS reporting thresholds. These are issued through Stripe at the end of each tax year.
