Bring your own clients to Pawprint

Last updated: October 15, 2026

Already walk, sit or groom for clients outside Pawprint? Where client invites are available, your personal invite connects eligible clients with you and reduces your Pawprint platform fee on their bookings.

1. Check eligibility before they message or book

Finish your identity verification and Stripe payment onboarding first. Invite clients who are new to Pawprint: they must have no prior bookings anywhere on Pawprint and must not already have a conversation with you on the platform. Even a prior cancelled booking counts as booking history.

You cannot claim your own invite or invite accounts you own, control or fund. An invite is not a way to relabel an existing Pawprint client. Availability and eligibility are checked when the client accepts the invite; if the program is unavailable or closed to new claims, a new invite cannot be claimed.

2. Share your provider invite from the app

  1. Open Invite your clients from your profile or Settings.
  2. Use Share your link, or copy your invite link or code.
  3. Send it to the eligible client and ask them to accept it before they start a conversation with you or book on Pawprint.
  4. Check the list of clients you have brought in the same invite screen. It shows each linked client’s current fee status and, during the 0% period, its end date.

Use the provider client invite, rather than an ordinary profile link or the separate friend-referral code. If the invite option is missing, check your provider setup and contact support.

3. What your client sees

The invite link can open Pawprint. If the client needs the app, the web invite page provides download links and the invite code; when available, it also shows your provider card. Ask the client to keep the code so it is not lost during installation.

After signing in or creating an account, the client can accept the invite in the app. If the link did not carry through installation, they can open Settings → Redeem a provider invite, enter the code and apply it. A successful claim shows a connection confirmation and an option to browse your services.

Accepting an invite does not itself create a booking. The client still chooses care and completes the booking flow. The program changes your platform fee; it does not reduce the price the client pays.

4. Each client gets their own fee period

As checked on October 15, 2026, the introductory period is 30 days at 0% Pawprint platform fee. It starts when that client accepts your invite, not when you joined, shared the link or completed their first service.

After that client’s introductory period, the current reduced platform fee is 5%, or your own standard rate if that is lower. This applies to bookings between you and that linked client, not all your clients or that client’s bookings with other providers.

Stripe processing still applies during and after the 0% period. The platform-fee rate is locked when each booking is created. Creating a booking during the introductory period locks its 0% platform rate even if the care happens after that period ends.

The client’s introductory end date is fixed at acceptance; a later change to the standard period does not shorten it. Program availability and terms can change, so check the rate shown in the app and the client-invite terms. See getting paid for processing deductions and payout timing.

Common questions

When do the 30 days start?

Each eligible client’s 30-day 0% Pawprint platform-fee period starts when they accept your provider invite. It does not start when you share the link or when they first book. Stripe processing still applies.

What happens after the 0% period?

The current reduced platform fee is 5%, or your own standard rate if lower, on bookings between you and that linked client. Stripe processing still applies, and each booking’s platform-fee rate is locked at creation.

Can an existing Pawprint client claim my invite?

A new claim requires no prior bookings anywhere on Pawprint and no existing conversation with you. A client with a prior cancelled booking is not eligible. You cannot claim your own invite or invite accounts you own, control or fund.

Does my client get a discount from the invite?

No. The provider client-invite program changes your platform fee, not the client’s booking price. Accepting the invite connects the client with you; they still need to book care.
